Integra approved to redevelop former church site in North Miami
Integra Investments has proposed the NoMi Square apartments in North Miami.
Integra received approval from North Miami officials to redevelop a former church site into a $100 million apartment project.
NoMi Square will be located on a 7.6-acre site at 13855 N.W. 17th Ave. The Miami-based developer, through affiliate North Miami Venture LLC, purchased the property for $4.5 million in 2021. The church was abandoned years earlier.
The project was approved for 338 apartments in seven stories, plus four live-work units with both residential space and room for a business, and about 500 parking spaces. Amenities would include a pool, a clubroom, a summer kitchen, a fitness center, a business center and a playground.
There would also be a public linear park stretching 528 feet along the edge of the property.
Integra plans to break ground on NoMi Square in 2023. Construction should take 18 months.
“We are proud to be part of this exciting time for North Miami and bring to the market high-quality housing,” said Integra Investments Senior VP of Development Manuel Martinez.
Miami-based Anillo Toledo Lopez Architecture designed the project.
With rents rises at record levels in Miami-Dade County this year, many developers are eager to start work on multifamily projects to capitalize on the hot market.
